    Radiology Search Engines added

Yottalook (beta) is a Radiology Search engine for images or references that is based on Google .
Goldminer is a radiological image search engine hosted by the American Roentgen Ray Society, and results are limited to "images from respected peer-reviewed images".

Here's more about them from Pacsweb.

Yottalook and Goldminer have been added to the 'Links' section of this site, on the right hand sidebar.

    Dear Sirs,
I am Radiologist at the Cleveland Clinic and helped together with the non-profit organization EduRad developing a new generation of Radiology specific search engines (www.RadiologySearch.net).

Peer-reviewed contents & websites are included in the search engine, thus shortening the time needed to find relevant information & increasing the specificity of the results. This new and freely available Radiology search engine (www.RadiologySearch.net) is so far the most comprehensive from the radiologist's standpoint which has been confirmed at several national and international radiology meetings. It was introduced at the last RSNA congress and will be also presented at the next ARRS meeting . Furthermore it has been recently featured on AuntMinnie.com and the RSNA Daily scan with very positive feedback.

Instead of using non-specific or multiple different search engines for specific tasks, www.RadiologySearch.net combines it all in one.

    Features include:

    - Semantic (relational) search
    - Search refinements help to specify your search
    - Search within Radiology journals
    - All other peer-reviewed scientific journals
    - Radiological images
    - Radiology cases
    - Radiology teaching files
    - Radiological and other books
    - Radiology lectures
    - Videos (about procedures etc.)
    - Anatomy & Atlases
    - Radiological vendors & products
    - Latest news (general Radiology and subspecialty-specific)
    - Latest publications from most Radiology journals (last 7 days)
    - Quick access to almost all Radiology journals
    - Quick access to all Radiology societies
    - Search within Radiology societies & associations
    - CME opportunities
    - General search (not peer-reviewed) like Google search
    - Customization of search (create your own search engine)
    - Multiple export functions to adapt to the user's needs
    - Import search engine into your own website (see below)

You don't even have to go to a regular search engine such as Google anymore, because the not peer-reviewed search function uses Google itself and brings the same information as Google would do.

One unique feature is the possiblity to implement the search directly into your own website. You just need to implement the small source code in your website (in the email footer). You can see, how it works in example on www.radiologyteacher.com, www.lung-cancers.net, www.PedRad.info, www.ChestRadiology.net, http://radiologysearch.blogspot.com, www.annotate.org, www.cancerstaging.info, http://sumerdoc.blogspot.com or and other websites.
Some popular Radiology programs such as "RadWhere Suite" from Comissure appreciate this multi-functionality and use our search functions directly from their program.

Convince yourself by using www.RadiologySearch.net, linking to this search engine or implementing the search engine into your website.
Feel free to use the code provided at the end of this text!

Please let me know if you need some more information or have any suggestions.
    Sincerely,
    Roland Talanow

You just need to implement a small source code to use the search engine on your site. Several layouts are available at http://www.radiologysearch.net/?mod=addradiologysearch.
